The smallest square footage on our pre-planned sheds is 10×10. 100 square feet does not seem like a ton of space when you compare it to say the size of your home, but you can actually fit quite a bit in a 10×10 storage shed. So if you are in need of a shed and maybe have very little space in your yard to put one the 10×10 shed could be a great option for you. You can still get quite a bit of items into a 10×10 storage shed.
Here are some things you can get into a 10×10 shed.
It may not seem like you can fit a vehicle into a 10×10 shed, but it is actually possible with a double shed door to get the vehicle in and out. With a cement slab foundation, you can shelter your motorcycle, ATV, golf cart, small compact tractor, or small-sized riding lawnmower.
Power Equipment and Lawn Tools
A 10×10 shed is a great size for a gardening shed. You can fit a large number of landscaping items into this size of the shed, you may even wonder what to do with the extra space if you organize it well. You can fit in a large number of rakes, shovels, pots, extra soil, lawn furniture not in use, the lawnmower and other power equipment such as tillers, blowers, and weed whackers.
Tools and Handyman Items
A 10×10 shed is a great place to set up a workshop and store all of those items for maintaining and improving your home and property. You will even have enough room to set up a workbench and do small fix-it jobs from inside the shed if you choose to run power to your shed.
Adding a Loft to a 10×10 Shed Gives Additional Space
If you feel like you need just a little more space to store things adding a loft to the top of your 10×10 shed is a great budget-friendly option. A loft space on a shed is a perfect place to store items you may not need every day but will need someday. This could be items like kayaks, Christmas decorations, camping equipment, or long term storage boxes.
