Builders Construct a Shed Before The House

Builders of New Construction – Build a Shed in the Backyard Before Finishing the House

One of the great things we have a chance to do as designers of sheds, garden sheds, and custom-built garages is the opportunity to build these items before our house is actually billed on a home site. I know it might sound funny but, in newer developments and subdivisions all across the Puget Sound region, builders and developers are hiring Aurora Quality Buildings to design and build a mini cabin, garden shed, or custom-built garage on-site before the house is actually completed.

This is a great opportunity for us to have free reign and clear access to a backyard to design a garden shed or a mini cabin and then once the home is built, those that paint the house can paint the shed at the same time with the same colors.

We can obviously construct sheds in backyards on existing homesites where the home has been well-established, but the access to the backyard could be obstructed by fencing, landscaping, vehicles or other buildings. Getting in on the ground floor before the foundation is laid means that we can get in and get out in one day having the shed you need ready to go when the house is completed.

If you’re looking at buying a brand-new home throughout the Puget Sound region but you know you probably need a shed in the backyard or some sort of extra outbuilding, now would be a great time to do so.

While you are picking out your pink colors, cabinets, flooring, and services, it’s also time to pick out a garden shed and this is perfect for developers as well. Developers and builders can sell the home complete with the backyard garden shed ready to go already completed and painted the same color as the house. This is a small fee at the beginning that can be easily added onto the whole cost of the home improving the property and adding value to the overall cost of the home.

What other items can be built on-site simultaneously with developers and builders?

We can also construct custom-built garages. These might be perfect for an RV, boathouse, or just an additional garage on the side of the house. We can add it on either simultaneously to the building of the house or afterward.

There are literally hundreds of ways to use in an outbuilding or outside shed. You don’t just have to store your garden equipment in it. This could be designed as an office, she shed or man cave, Jim, craft room, playhouse, you can even turn it into a tiny house for friends or family. There are a lot of different potential options for a shed or outbuilding on-site and it’s a great way to install one in one day before completing the house. We can get in and get out and steer clear of the building crew.

Whether it’s an art studio, rental, music space, guestroom, home gym, private retreat, mini escape, or just a place to stow your lawnmower, weed eaters, and garden equipment, building the shed on-site before the completion of a home is the best way to do it.

Of course, we can always install sheds once the home is built on an existing homesite. We have clever and creative ways of getting around fencing, landscaping, and other buildings so don’t let that stop you from giving us a call and finding out what it would take to build a shed on-site in your backyard or on your property.
